Why support your team?
Over the last years there have been drastic changes in the work environment which affect how we now collaborate, communicate and connect as a team. For many of us these changes have been particularly stressful, anxiety provoking and emotionally draining.
Many of us live fast paced and busy lives – surrounded by a lot of noise, movement and constant stimulus. We are affected by challenges we face at work and in our private lives, pressure we put on ourselves, expectations and ambitions.
This can be exciting – and give us the buzz of an adrenaline kick – but it can also lead to high levels of stress and even burnout. Both affect our personal lives, our behaviour and performance at work, and our relationships with colleagues.
”In 2020/21 stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 50% of all work-related ill health cases.

Inclusivity
Inclusivity, non-judgment and a non-dogmatic approach are crucial to my approach to teaching. In my work I’m aiming to be inclusive of all lived experiences across race, gender, age, religion etc.

About me
I started my teaching journey in 2009 and teach yoga, mindfulness, meditation and related modalities at a senior level. I also train new yoga and meditation teachers.
I give talks and facilitate workshops and courses at the workplace – all infused with warmth, care and humour.
These can cover a wide range of topics including embodied practice, functional movement, the physiology of breathing, mindfulness and productivity, building resilience, managing stress, meditation and many other topics. I work with each organisation individually to create a bespoke session that can be offered as part of a health & wellbeing day, away day, lunch time talk or practical session.
I trained as a yoga teacher with Yogacampus and have taken advanced training with many international and local teachers. I also trained extensively in yin yoga and mindfulness with Sarah Powers, mindfulness and self-compassion with Karen Atkinson at MindfulnessUK, and trauma-sensitive mindfulness at an advanced level with David Treleaven.
I hold accreditation by the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance, and the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body.
